Wearable Consult was featured in the magazine "EURESCOM mess@ge" (page 14-15). The presentation of the topic Wearable Computing & Wearable Electronics was one of the hightlights of that session.

Cooperation between Wearable Consult and Bauhaus-Universität Weimar
Goal of this cooperation is the development of a practical, mobile, digital system configuration and working environment for the "design in the field in the year 2010."
This project "hands-free - a custumized wearable computer" (link to the German webpage: "Freie Hand - Ein maßgeschneiderter tragbarer Computer") is a transdisciplinary project between Wearable Consult (Dr. Christian Bürgy), the department of informatics in architecture (Prof. Dr.-Ing. D. Donath, Jun. Prof. Dr.-Ing. F. Petzold) and the department of product design (Prof. H. Bartels).

Award in research competition
Dr. Christian Bürgy was awarded by the German ministry of economic affairs and labor in the competition "Auf IT gebaut - Bauberufe mit Zukunft" ("Built on IT - AEC jobs with future"). With this award the ministry acknowledges the results of Bürgy's dissertation research on wearable computers in industrial applications. The award celebration was held on February 17th, at the "Build IT" in Berlin, a fair for AEC software.
